9 Cited At Elmhurst Bar So Far This Month: Cops

Charges have included underage drinking, using false IDs and obstructing officers, police say.

ELMHURST, IL — So far this month, Elmhurst police have cited nine women at Fitz's Pub, 172 N. Addison Ave., according to police reports.

Late Thursday night, two 19-year-old women from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Norridge were charged at Fitz's Pub with consumption of alcohol by minors and being minors on a licensed premise, police said. They are listed on social media as Elmhurst University students.

In a bar check Sunday morning, police charged two 18-year-old women and one 19-year-old woman, all of Bartlett, with using false identifications and consumption of alcohol by minors, according to reports.

Shortly after, officers cited a 22-year-old Homewood woman with using marijuana in a protected location.

Earlier this month, police cited two 20-year-old women at Fitz's Pub on charges of using false identification. One of them is listed on social media as attending Elmhurst University. Another 20-year-old woman was charged with obstructing a police officer and being a minor on a licensed premise.

Fitz's Pub has also been the site of disturbances in the last year, including twice in April and once in December, according to police reports.
