Acquaintance Breaks Into Elmhurst Home: Cops
A video camera caught the man stealing cash from a cabinet in the kitchen, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A Hillside man is accused of burglarizing the home of a former Elmhurst acquaintance last week, police said.
Michael D'Andrea, 58, was arrested on a charge of burglary. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
The break-in took place about 11 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of North West Avenue, police said.

Police said the resident on West Avenue had a video camera set up in his home, which recorded D'Andrea entering and stealing cash from a cabinet in his kitchen.
D'Andrea was arrested three days later, police said.
