ADDISON, IL. – On Saturday, July 28, 2018, the inaugural graduating class of three students who fulfilled the requirements needed to receive their high school diplomas were celebrated with a graduation ceremony at Addison Public Library. The students completed the Career Online High School program which was unveiled in September 2016.

“Earning a high school diploma is a life-changing achievement,” said Uma Mirmira, Adult Services Coordinator. “By offering Career Online High School, we’re empowering our residents to seek new opportunities and transform their lives.”

Career Online High School is specifically designed to reengage adults into the education system and prepare them for entry into post-secondary career education or the workforce. The program is part of the world’s first accredited, private online school district.
