Aggravated Battery, DUIs: Elmhurst Blotter

The following items were taken from the Elmhurst police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

DUI

• Oscar Yescas, 37, Chicago, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. July 3 at York and Vallette for aggravated DUI, improper turn, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked. Yescas was also wanted out of Cook and DuPage County. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
• Michael Welch, 60, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. July 5 at North and Oak for DUI-drugs, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Driving While License Suspended

• Lisa Lofendo, 48, Villa Park, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. July 5 at Route 83 and North for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Battery

• Hahsahn Haygood, 46, Maywood, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. July 5 in the 100 block of East Brush Hill for aggravated battery. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
