Elmhurst Man Spits On Woman Near Local Business: Police

He then charged at her, prompting her to go inside, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man last week spat at a woman outside a local business and then charged at her, prompting her to go inside, police said.

The 39-year-old man, who appeared drunk, was charged with assault and given a no-trespass notice, police said. He was released.

The incident occurred about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot at Elmhurst Family Dental, 314 N. York St., police said.

Police have arrested the man repeatedly over the years. Until recently, he was listed as living in the 600 block of West Fay Avenue. He is now listed as homeless.

Earlier this month, police arrested the man on a trespassing charge in the 400 block of North West Avenue.

In June, he was arrested after being accused of creating a ruckus at a restaurant.
