• Elmhurst Woman Threatens To Hurt Cop, Then Does So: Police (patch.com) — Elmhurst police say a 26-year-old Elmhurst woman faces a felony aggravated battery charge after allegedly shoving and later kicking an officer following a July 31 DUI arrest downtown. The report details her behavior in the Adelaide Street parking garage, at the station, and during a hospital trip for a blood draw, with charges now pending in DuPage County.
   

• Elmhurst Suspect Says She Accidentally Entered Wrong Car At Store (patch.com) — Elmhurst police recently responded to a woman entering the wrong car at the Schiller Street Jewel, a wallet stolen from an unlocked work van on South Argyle, and a suspicious person in a West Second Street garage. Officers also made two DUI arrests on North York Street and at North and Addison, with suspects from Chicago and Waukegan taken into custody or released.
