Annual Job Fair Held In Villa Park

Illinois businesses are searching for qualified candidates, accepting resumes and giving on-the-spot interviews.

VILLA PARK, IL — State Sen. Tom Cullerton, a Democrat from Villa Park, will host a job fair for DuPage County residents. According to a release, Cullerton, local chambers of commerce and the Illinois Department of Employment Security will host a job fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22 at the Odeum in Villa Park.

Illinois businesses are searching for qualified candidates, accepting resumes and giving on-the-spot interviews.

Cullerton is also recruiting Illinois employers to participate in his sixth annual job fair.

“The goal of this event is to connect local employers who are looking to hire right now with DuPage County residents,” Cullerton said in a release. “The key to growing our economy is putting people to work. If you know someone looking for a job or a career change please urge them to take advantage of this opportunity. “

Veterans seeking jobs will be admitted at 10 a.m. before the event begins for the general public. The event is free and open to the public.
