Argument Prompts Call To Elmhurst Police

A man runs away when officers respond to the incident, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A man and a woman arguing Thursday morning resulted in police being called to Larch Avenue and Lake Street, police said.

About 9:15 a.m., the man ran south into a neighborhood when officers arrived, police said. They found him after a short search.

Charges are pending.

The police said they posted information about the incident on Facebook because of police activity in the area. Because the suspect is in custody, there is no threat to the community, police said.
