Armed Robbery Of Elmhurst Bank: Cops

The suspect made off with cash after giving a demand note to a teller, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – US Bank at 536 S. York St. was robbed shortly before noon Saturday, with the suspect making off with cash, Elmhurst police said.

Police listed the incident as an armed robbery, but did not say what type of weapon was seen. After the suspect handed a teller a note demanding cash, the teller gave the cash in her drawer, police said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 25 years old, 6 feet, having a thin build, and wearing a black surgical mask, a baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
