Armed Robbery at Elmhurst Gas Station, Police Searching for Suspect

Police continue to search the area for the offender, and said no injuries were reported.

ELMHURST, IL - Police are searching for a suspect who robbed an Elmhurst gas station before fleeing on foot, police said.

Elmhurst Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Clark gas station, on the corner of Second and Addison Avenue at 4:35 p.m. April 25.

Police said the suspect is a black male in his early 20s, and was wearing a green surgical mask, light gray hoodie and dark gray pants.

According to police, the suspect displayed a handgun and took an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene on foot going southbound.

Police continue to search the area for the offender, and said no injuries were reported.
