Bar Fight, Domestic Battery: Elmhurst Cops
Victims told officers they were involved in a fight with a stranger, according to a police report.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving a bar fight, domestic battery, harassment, a disturbance, retail theft and inappropriate comments. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Bar fight
- Victims told police they were involved in a fight with a stranger about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Doc's Victory Pub, 490 S. Spring Road. The suspect left before officers arrived. An investigation is pending.
Domestic battery

- A person struck a woman during an argument about 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North West Avenue. The woman suffered injuries to her face and neck. An investigation is pending.
Harassment
- A resident in the 300 block of South West Avenue told police that she left her place of employment because she was harassed by someone. She saw that person gain access to her parked car about 11 p.m. Friday. Charges are pending.
- A person at the Ray Graham Association, 420 W. Madison Ave., told police Thursday about receiving a harassing text message from an unknown phone number.

- A resident told police Friday that a stranger has knocked on his window in the 300 block of Huntington Lane on two separate occasions.
Warrant
- Carlos Rivera, 53, of Palatine, was arrested about 4 a.m. Thursday at Route 83 and North 83 on a Kendall County warrant. He was also cited on a charge of having tinted windows. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft
- Rodney Green, 48, of Chicago, was cited about 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Mariano's grocery store, 678 N. York St., on a charge of retail theft. Police said he stole four bottles of liquor. He was released on bond.
Inappropriate comments
- Clarion Hotel, 933 Riverside Drive, reported that a guest was being rude and making inappropriate comments toward employees about 3 p.m. Thursday. The guest was served with a no-trespass notice.
Drugs
- A person was banging on windows about 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bradford Systems, 945 Oaklawn Ave. The person was found in possession of fentanyl and was taken to the hospital. Charges are expected after the suspect's release from the hospital.
Theft
- Someone stole a vinyl menu sign overnight Friday from the drive-thru at Nana's Hot Dogs, 582 W. Lake St. An investigation is pending.
BB pellets
- Several small holes consistent with BB pellets were found Sunday on the outside of a house in the 700 block of North Indiana Street. An investigation is pending.
