Bar-Goer Battered At Elmhurst Nightclub: Police

ELMHURST, IL – A woman was the victim of a battery late Saturday night at an Elmhurst nightclub, police said.

She told police she was enjoying a night out at Stage 119, a live music venue in downtown Elmhurst, when a stranger stepped on her foot.

The woman then confronted the man, who breathed heavily in her face and twisted her left wrist, police said.

She said the incident occurred about 11 p.m., but did not report the incident until two nights later, police said.

The man was described as white, 25 to 35, and wearing a blue puffer-style vest.

Police said an investigation is pending.
