Bar Incident, Argument: Elmhurst Cops
A man was making others feel uncomfortable at an Elmhurst bar, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving a bar incident, an argument, threats, inappropriate images, road rage, identity theft, a disturbance and a vehicle burglary. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Bar incident
- A man was making customers and staff uncomfortable about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Spring Inn bar, 552 S. Spring Road. Police served the man with a no-trespass notice.

- A person got into an argument after refusing to move a car from a reserved spot about 10:30 a.m. Monday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road. At the request of hospital security, the person was given a no-trespass notice. The person left without any problems.
Threats
- An Elmhurst officer helped Villa Park police in responding to two teens who threatened someone about 2:30 a.m. Monday near Walmart, 900 S. Route 83, which is across the street from Elmhurst. The Elmhurst officer found one of the teens.
Inappropriate images

- Someone spray-painted inappropriate images on a car about 7:30 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of North Evergreen Avenue. An investigation is pending.
Road rage
- A man told police that a driver cut him off and weaved in and out of traffic about 7 p.m. on St. Charles Road. The other driver said he accidentally cut off the man and then the man began following him. Neither party filed charges.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 200 block of North Addison Avenue told police Tuesday that someone gained access to her bank account and transferred money while impersonating a representative of McAfee. An investigation is pending.
Disturbance
- A disturbance occurred about 2 a.m. Wednesday near Wendy's, 956 N. York St. Police found that one person was wanted in Bensenville for battery. The person was transferred to Bensenville police.
Vehicle burglary
- Someone forced entry to a vehicle and stole tools between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mondo Builders, 362 N. York St.
Suspicious
- A reported stolen car was taken Wednesday to Elmhurst Auto Body, 652 W. Lake St., from a Chicago police tow yard. The owner looked through the car and found several key fobs that did not belong to the vehicle and a license plate that was reported stolen in Chicago. An officer placed the items into evidence for safekeeping.
