Battery, Disorderly Conduct: Elmhurst Cops
Officers arrested a woman after responding to a domestic battery call, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of domestic battery, disorderly conduct, drug possession and driving violations. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- Irene Vela, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Addison on a charge of domestic battery. Police said they saw fresh scratches on the victim. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Disorderly conduct

- Otis Thompson, 50, of Glendale Heights, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at LW Reedy Real Estate, 101 N. York St., on charges of possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct. Police said they came into contact with Thompson after receiving a trespassing complaint. He was also served with a no-trespass notice. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Driving violations
- Nathaniel Vera, 32, of Cicero, was arrested about 10 p.m. Monday at Oak Lawn and Crockett on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving with expired license plates and tinted windows. He was released on bond.
- Rosario Beltran, 67, of Channahon, was arrested about 3 p.m. Tuesday at York and Belden on charges of driving with a revoked license, driving an uninsured vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond.
- Julius Boone, 60, of Memphis, was arrested about 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joanne Way and Berteau on warrants from DuPage and McHenry counties and charges of driving with a suspended license, unlawful display of registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Hulon Ware, 28, of Bensenville, was cited at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles and Pick on charges of driving with a suspended license, unlawful possession of marijuana, improper bumpers and expired registration. He was released on bond.
- Oscar Colon, 29, of Bensenville, was cited about 8 p.m. Wednesday at Route 83 and Armitage on charges of driving with a suspended license, expired registration and no seat belt. He was released on bond.
