Bensenville Carnival Raises 3K For Youth Coalition

BENSENVILLE, IL — A carnival held in downtown Bensenville by District 2 in May brought thousands of guests to the village, and allowed the district raise thousands of dollars for Bensenville Youth Coalition. According to a release, District 2 Superintendent Dr. James Stelter presented a check for $3,067.54 to Village President Frank DeSimone who accepted the check on behalf of the Bensenville Youth Coalition.

“I always enjoy seeing our taxing bodies nurturing relationships with community groups like the Bensenville Youth Coalition which have such a great, positive impact in the community," Village President Frank DeSimone said in a release.

According to the release, the Bensenville Youth Coalition is comprised of members from all of the village’s
taxing bodies as well as the DuPage County Health Department, various churches, and healthcare organizations throughout Bensenville.
