Bensenville Man's Excessive Speeding In Elmhurst: Cops

The suspect was charged with reckless driving, among other offenses.

ELMHURST, IL – A Bensenville man may have been in a hurry last week.

Aidan Suarez, 19, who was driving a two-door BMW 335i, was going more than 40 mph above the speed limit about 11 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of North Route 83, Elmhurst police said.

In that area, the speed limit is 50 mph, meaning Suarez was suspected of speeding more than 90 mph. He was charged with excessive speeding, which is rare in Elmhurst.

He was also arrested on charges of reckless driving, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and possession of a fraudulent driver's license. He was released on bond.
