Boss In Elmhurst Charged With Battery: Cops
He was charged a day after he was said to have choked an employee.
ELMHURST, IL – A 41-year-old Chicago man was charged this week with battering a worker at an Elmhurst business, police said.
An employee at Luxury Nails, 181 S. Route 83, told police that her assistant manager, the 41-year-old woman, choked her while she was at work about 3 p.m. Sunday. The assistant manager told an officer that it was just a joke, police said.
No injury was seen on the employee's neck. The woman reported the incident a half hour after she said it happened.
