Last year, Thrillist named Phase Three Brewing one of the 34 "hottest" breweries in the United States. It was one of three in Illinois.
"True to the trio in its name, this suburban Chicagoland brewery brews the holy trinity of buzzed-about styles: milkshake IPAs, heavily fruited sour ales, and indulgent imperial stouts," the Thrillist reviewer wrote.
A few doors down, Bottle Theory, a craft beer taproom, is set to open at 542 S. Spring Road. It noted the coming brewery.
"We are especially excited by the recent news from Phase Three Brewing, one of the leading craft breweries in Illinois, who recently announced they will be opening a taproom less than 200 yards from our location," the company said in its business concept.
