Burglary, Disorderly Conduct: Elmhurst Arrests
A theft suspect was charged after he sped away from a local store, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of burglary, disorderly conduct, drug possession, leaving the scene of an accident and driving violations. Here is information from the reports:
Burglary
- James F. Dalu, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mariano's, 678 N. York, on charges of retail theft and burglary. According to a police report, officers attempted to stop Dalu, but he sped away. He was later found. A search of his car yielded stolen merchandise. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Disorderly conduct

- Rosanne Catalanotto, 56, of Elmhurst, and Randy Schlarb, 52, of Putnam, were cited about 2 p.m. Saturday at Eldridge Park on charges of disorderly conduct. They were released on bond.
Drug possession
- Alexis Minor, 23, of Lockport, was arrested about 7 p.m. Friday at Butterfield and Poplar on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and improper lane usage. He was released on bond.

- Louis Roncoli, 77, of Addison, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of North Church on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle. He was released on bond.
Driving violations
- Jonathan Ramos, 28, of Chicago, was cited about 8 p.m. Thursday at West and North on charges of no valid driver's license, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and tinted windows. He was released on bond.
- Gustavo Herrera, 42, of Chicago, was cited about 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Roosevelt and York on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. He was released on bond.
- Moussa Diouf, 34, of Bensenville, was cited about 8 p.m. Saturday at York and Lake on charges of no valid driver's license and tinted windows. He was released on bond.
- Gabriel Catalan Garcia, 33, of Chicago, was cited about 9:30 p.m. Saturday at North and Route 83 on charges of no valid driver's license and disobeying a traffic signal. He was released on bond.
