Bus Passenger Assaulted In Elmhurst: Police

ELMHURST, IL – A Pace bus passenger was assaulted earlier this week in Elmhurst, police said.

The passenger boarded the bus about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at York Street and Butterfield Road. A man and a woman then got on the bus and harassed and threatened the passenger, police said.

The woman knocked the victim's hat off of his head, police said.

The man was described as black, 6-foot-5, 180 to 200 pounds, 45 to 50 years old, having a scruffy beard and wearing dark clothing.

The woman was said to be black, 4-foot-10, 80 pounds, and wearing a yellow construction vest, dirty jeans and earrings.

Police said the case is pending.
