Candidate Forum Held In Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL — The League of Women Voters of Elmhurst will host a candidate forum for local candidates on Sunday, Feb. 10. The forum will be held at Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York St., from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.

According to the league, candidates for Elmhurst Park District Board, Elmhurst City Council Aldermen, Elmhurst Unit School District 205 School Board and College of DuPage District 502 Trustees have been invited to speak about their qualifications and vision for their respective positions. After answering some questions from the league, the candidates will be asked to answer questions submitted in writing from those who are in attendance.

Each group of candidates will speak at different times:

• Elmhurst Park District, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
• District 205 School Board, 1:45 to 3:15 p.m.
• Elmhurst City Council, 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.
• College of DuPage Trustees, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.

This program is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend the whole event or individual pieces.
