Chicago-Based Artist to Visit Elmhurst Art Museum for 'In the House' Series
Laura Davis will participate in the series Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Elmhurst Art Museum.

Laura Davis, a Chicago-based artist, is the first artist invited to participate in the Elmhurst Art Museum’s “In the House” series.
The series is an “exploration and use of the Mies van der Rohe-designed McCormick House from 1952,” according to the Elmhurst Art Museum. ”In the House” is ongoing, and artists will participate on a regular basis.

Davis’ work in sculpture and installations “examine the intersection of craft, design and art.” She will give a talk at the museum Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
