Cleaning Service Suspected In Elmhurst Burglary
A portable safe was moved and an engagement ring was missing after housekeepers left, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – A resident in the 100 block of North Addison Avenue noticed her portable safe was moved last week after a cleaning service left, police said.
She discovered her engagement ring was missing from the safe, police said.
The three suspects, all wearing gray T-shirts with green lettering, were in the residence for an hour late Thursday morning, police said.

The first suspect was described as a black man, in his late 30s, 6 feet, and having a thin build and longer hair. The second one was a black woman, 50 years old, having a heavy build, and wearing gold earrings, skinny jeans and white shoes. The third suspect was described as a black woman, 35 years old, and wearing a shower cap.
The crime was listed as a residential burglary.
