Convicted Elmhurst Lawyer Granted New Trial in Billion-Dollar Tax Scam Case
David Parse was originally denied a new trial after it was discovered that one of the jurors had corrupted the first trial by lying.

An Elmhurst lawyer who was convicted in 2011 in a multi-billion dollar tax fraud and conspiracy case will get a new trial, judges of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ruled Monday.
David Parse, who worked for Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) unit Alex Brown, was originally denied a new trial after it was discovered that one of the jurors had corrupted the first trial by lying, though his convicted co-defendants had gotten new trials.
