Coyote Runs After Young Girl In Backyard: Video

VILLA PARK, IL — A home surveillance camera in unincorporated Villa Park appears to show a coyote chasing after a young girl.

The video clip, which starts around the 4:55 mark of the YouTube embed below, first shows the coyote coming up to the yard from the street, then watching the girl and soon after running after her.

It does not look like the coyote made contact with the girl, who was able to notice the animal and run back toward the driveway and eventually onto the deck.

Dates on the camera show that this occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Patch has reached out to the person who posted the video on YouTube for more information.
