
The following items were taken from the Elmhurst police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Oct. 4
- Joseph Taglia, 38, of Glendale Heights, was arrested at 10:58 a.m. in the 200 block of Butterfield for disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing after violating a no trespass order.

- Martin Mondragonescut, 34, of Villa Park, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. at North and York for driving while license suspended, no insurance, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol, following a traffic stop for improper lane use.
- Brion Jones, 19, of Chicago, was arrested at 4:07 a.m. at York and Grand for DUI, improper lane use and consumption of alcohol by a minor, following a traffic stop for improper lane use.
- Two iPhones were stolen from T-Mobile, 361 Route 83. The male offenders fled the scene in an unknown direction at 3:55 p.m.
- Brian Torres, 28, of Burbank, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East Crescent for disorderly conduct and obstructing identification.
- Two black males between 30 and 50 years of age, and about 6'0" stole diapers from Jewel, 153 E. Schiller St. at 7:17 p.m. They fled from the store and put the merchandise into a car before fleeing on Palmer toward York Road.
Oct. 8
- Roberto Diaz, 37, of Cicero, was arrested at 12:29 a.m. at North and Berteau for driving while license suspended and no rear registration plate light, following a traffic stop for no rear registration plate light.
