Disturbances At 2 Elmhurst Restaurants: Police

Patrons became unruly after a disagreement over a bill, according to a report.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to disturbances at two Elmhurst restaurants over the weekend. Here is information from the reports:

  • After a disagreement over a bill, patrons became unruly and refused to leave about 10 p.m. Saturday at 151 Kitchen Bar restaurant, 151 N. York St. They were issued trespass warnings from the business. One of the suspects later harassed the restaurant by calling in fake reservations for large parties.
  • A man arrived at Amigas Restaurant II, 671 W. North Ave., about 1 p.m. Friday and fell asleep in a booth. The restaurant asked the man to leave after he put his feet on the bench. Officers were called and could not wake up the man at first. He was taken by ambulance to Elmhurst Hospital.
