A man slapped a woman and tried to prevent her from calling police, report said.

DUI
- Juan Maya-Felegrino, 45, of Chicago, was arrested about 3 p.m. Wednesday at North and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, improper lighting, improper display of a front license plate and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was released on bond.
- Tiarra Peet, 27, of Arlington Heights, was arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday at Lake and York on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and tinted windows. She was released on bond.

- Eileen Alvarez, 32, of Chicago, was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of West St. Charles Road on a Cook County warrant and charges of no valid driver's license and attempted obstructing of an officer. She was taken to the Cook County Jail.
Disorderly conduct
- Lance Alexander, 59, of Maywood, was cited about 2:30 p.m. Friday at First and Addison on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was on a bus at the time of the incident. He was released on bond.
