Dr. Matthew Siegel, medical oncologist, joins Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare

Matthew Siegel, MD, board certified in hematology, oncology and internal medicine, has joined the cancer care team at Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare as a medical oncologist.

Dr. Siegel earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine and served as chief resident. Dr. Siegel completed his fellowship training in hematology/oncology at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Dr. Siegel is a member of several organizations, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has volunteered for several medical missions, including visits to South Africa, Dominican Republic and Bolivia. He has also provided medical services in local communities, including PADS Homeless Shelters.
