Driver in Stolen Vehicle Crashes Into Retention Pond, Dies in Tri-State Tollway Crash

A man driving a stolen Cadillac Escalade crashed through a fence at the Irving Park Road exit from the Tri-State Tollway and plowed into a retention pond early Sunday morning, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The man, who did not have any identification on him, was killed in the crash, which occurred on southbound I-294 near Schiller Park, according to the article. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Rosemont.
