Drug Possession, Trespassing: Elmhurst Arrests

Three people were arrested on drug possession charges, according to reports.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested people on a variety of charges. Here is information from the police reports:

Drug possession

  • Monique F. Turcotte, 35, of Northlake, was arrested about 2 a.m. Thursday at North and Route 83 on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with one headlight and no seat belt. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • William Wagner, 27, of Wheeling, was arrested about 6 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of East Butterfield on three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Michael Causey, 42, of Elk Grove Village, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North West on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, he was in possession of crack cocaine and cocaine.

  • Miriam Garcia, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 8 p.m. Friday at Lake and Walnut on charges of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of marijuana by a driver, transportation of open alcohol, improper bumpers and defective windshield. She was released on bond. According to a police report, the car that Garcia was driving was listed as being stolen in Chicago.

Driving violations

  • David Trujillo, 21, of Bensenville, was cited at 7:30 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of North York on charges of driving with a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration and operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended for non-insurance. He was released on bond.
  • Jose Andres Santiago, 21, of Villa Park, was cited about 11:30 a.m. Friday at North and Route 83 on a charge of no valid driver’s license. He was released on bond.
  • Osvaldo Martinez, 20, of Chicago, was cited shortly before 7 p.m. Friday at Roosevelt and York on charges of no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.
  • Jesus Marquez, 30, of Addison, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Friday at Lake and Walnut on charges of driving with a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while using a phone, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond.
  • Teejay J. Reynolds, 21, of Hillside, was cited about 3:30 a.m. Saturday at York and Lake on charges of driving with a suspended license and improper lighting. He was released on bond.
  • Federico Gimenez, 28, of Vernon Hills, was cited about 9 a.m. Sunday at York and Lake on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond.

  • Daniela Groer, 19, of Addison, was arrested on a warrant about 7:30 p.m. Friday at Lake and Walnut on a warrant. She was released on bond.
