DUI, Drugs, Warrants: Elmhurst Arrests
Three men were charged with drunken driving, with one involving drugs, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst released its latest arrest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
DUI
- Seamus Henneberry, 24, of La Grange Park, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of West Commonwealth on charges of DUI (drugs), possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, he was found to be in possession of cocaine. He was discovered parked in a front yard.
- Matthew Masavage, 38, of Berkeley, 38, of Berkeley, was arrested about 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Cayuga on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid in an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, following too closely and driving too fast for conditions. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Masavage ran a short distance after an accident.
- Hector Vasquez, 45, of Lombard, was arrested about 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of South Riverside on charges of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.

- Daniel Kupreisis, 31, of Joliet, was arrested about 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of North York on a warrant and charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Kupreisis was caught stealing items from Mariano’s grocery store. A shopping bag with over-the-counter medication was found in the back seat of his car, police said.
Warrants
- Ruth Kirkland-Abbott, 42, of Glendale Heights, was arrested at 10 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of West Butterfield on DuPage County Sheriff’s Office warrants. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Jonathan Mitchell, 32, of Lynwood, was arrested about 11 p.m. Monday at Roosevelt and Villa on a DuPage County Sheriff’s Office warrant and charges of improper window tinting, possession of marijuana by a driver and driving with a suspended license. He was released on bond.

- Bryan Chavez, 24, of Addison, was cited about 5 p.m. Wednesday at York and Grand on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of marijuana by a driver and expired registration. He was released on bond.
- Lanesha Williams, 25, of Roselle, was cited about 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lake and Grand on charges of driving with a suspended license, improper lane usage and child restraint. She was released on bond.
- Mariah Cameron, 26, of Villa Park, was cited about 5 p.m. Thursday at St. Charles and Cottage Hill on a charge of driving with a suspended license. She was released on bond.
- Esteban Diaz-Camelo, 25, of Elmhurst, was cited about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at York and Crestview on charges of no valid driver’s license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond.
