ECPA welcomes Cathy Richardson, Cheryl Peterson
Planning for future, Board of Directors continues to grow

ECPA, the Elmhurst Centre for Performing Arts is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors.
“We are delighted to welcome two outstanding individuals to our ever-expanding Board of Directors. Their dedication to our mission, insight, and professional experience will be impactful as we propel forward with big changes.” said Laura Michaud, Board Secretary/Treasurer.
Grammy-nominated lead singer of Jefferson Starship since 2008, Cathy Richardson was born in Burr Ridge and attended Hinsdale Central High School. Cathy’s career has varied from commercial jingles and off-Broadway stage productions to creating and self-releasing seven albums. “I am thrilled to not only bring my array of skills and experience to the ECPA Board but to also to see this incredible vision come to life for my community,” said Richardson. Cathy has lived in Elmhurst since 1995.

Cheryl Peterson grew up in Addison, attended Elmhurst University, and completed her graduate studies at DePaul University. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the DuPage Water Commission. Cheryl enjoys supporting the arts and was most recently on the Board of Directors for Elmhurst Children’s Theatre. She admires the creative talent and bravery of those in the performing arts world and looks forward to helping ECPA achieve its goals. Cheryl, her husband, and her son reside in Elmhurst.
ECPA continues to expand the Board of Directors, seeking a diverse perspective in individuals who are passionate about the performing arts and believe in the mission of ECPA. Dedicated individuals are needed in the areas of fundraising, legal, marketing, finance, and real estate/development/construction management, to name a few.
