Elmhurst Ambulance Firm's Vehicles Targeted: Cops
Two men sawed off the catalytic converters and stole them, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – Catalytic converters were stolen last week from four vehicles owned by Elmhurst-based Superior Ambulance, police said.
About 1 a.m. Thursday, the converters were removed from four Superior minivans parked in a fenced lot in the 600 block of North Walnut Street, near the company's Lake Street headquarters, police said. The converters were sawed off and stolen, police said.
A security video shows a dark green Jeep and two men stealing the converters.

One of the men was described as wearing a black hoodie, a black mask, black pants and white gym shoes. The other was said to be wearing a black hoodie with lettering down each sleeve and a large color print on the back, black pants with three stripes down the outside leg, and black and white gym shoes with white bottom soles.
No other information on their descriptions was available.
