Elmhurst Arrests: 4 DUIs, Warrant

Three men and one woman are charged with drunken driving, police say.

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst issued its latest log of charges Monday. Here is information from the police reports:

DUIs

  • Romagno Galvez Bravo, 23, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Friday at Indiana and North on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device. He was released on bond.
  • Kukasz Czuba, 37, of Willow Springs, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Friday at Route 83 and Lake on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper parking on the roadway, transportation of open alcohol and improper window tinting. He was released on bond.
  • Isaura Guerrero, 38, of Elgin, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Grand and Lake on charges of DUI, endangering the life of a child and improper lane usage. She was released on bond.
  • Matthew Hermida, 23, of Bellwood, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Sunday at North and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, endangering the life of a child, operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communication device and failure to carry a driver's license on his person while operating a motor vehicle. He was released on bond.

  • Joshua Morales, 27, of Bloomingdale, was arrested about 8 a.m. Saturday at Lake and Grand on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant. He also was cited on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released on bond.

Driving violations

  • Ananillas E. Carrillo Matias, 27, of Addison, was cited about 1 a.m. Saturday at Grand and Old Grand on charges of no valid driver's license and improper lane usage. He was released on bond.
  • Brittany Levi, 22, of Chicago, was cited about 7 p.m. Sunday at Michigan and North on charges of driving with a suspended license and improper turning. She was released on bond.

Damaging city property

  • Lillian Schroeder, 91, of Elmhurst, was cited about 10 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of York Street on a charge of injuring city property. She was released on bond.
