Artmakers North is an informal group. Two and a half years ago, Ann Rosen, retired executive director of the Highland Park Art Center, was inspired to form the group because creating art can be isolating and finding a venue can be daunting. The artists meet once a month in various area art studios, galleries and schools. The group has sponsored six exhibits of its own to date.
