Elmhurst Center For Performing Arts Hosts Third Annual Gala

The ECPA has continued discussions and planning for a solution to establish a center for arts in Elmhurst.

ELMHURST, IL — The Elmhurst Center for Performing Arts will host its third annual Spotlight Gala on Saturday, Nov. 3. According to the organization, the gala will celebrate arts in the community and will benefit ECPA.

“We are thrilled to host our third annual Gala evening,” ECPA Board Chair Jeff Budgell, said in a release. "This event is an integral part of our overall plan to communicate and connect with our enthusiastic supporters.”

Over the past year, the ECPA has continued discussions and planning for a solution to establish a center for arts in Elmhurst.

“This community – Elmhurst and the surrounding area - is hugely passionate about the arts as evidenced by the investment in programs for our youth, the myriad of performing arts groups that appeal to all age groups, and the extent to which we enjoy attending performances,” Budgell said. “The ECPA initiative is bringing together people who share that passion and support a community-based center.”

The gala will be held at the Elmhurst Art Museum at 7 p.m., and will feature performances by local performing artists including Evolution Dance, Extensions Lyrical Dance and the York High School band performers. The evening will conclude with dancing to live music performed by the talented Brian Patti Orchestra.

"This year's Spotlight Gala will be our best yet," Tricia Belletire, co-chair of the gala planning team, said in a release. “It is a thrill to be planning this wonderful evening with the many people who have tremendous passion for this project. “

The gala is sponsored by Absolute Production Services and Suburban Band and Trust. According to the organization, proceeds from the silent auction, live auction and wine and craft beer pull will benefit
ECPA’s initiative.
