Elmhurst Church Raises Funds For Food Pantry

ELMHURST, IL — Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elmhurst and volunteers from Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry recently raised $7,400 in fund for the food pantry. The church and the food pantry hosted the "Something Special Rummage Sale" and presented a check to Nancy Peterson of Elmhurst-Yorkfield Pantry.

The Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry serves the communities of Elmhurst, Addison, Bensenville, Berkeley, Hillside, Lombard, Oak Brook and Villa Park. The food pantry is open Monday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m., and 6:30 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It is located at 1083 S. York Road, in Elmhurst.
