Elmhurst Cool Cities Educates Residents on Solar Options
Two webinars provide residents with details on both rooftop and community solar programs.
Elmhurst residents have two opportunities to “go solar” in 2020: Solarize Chicagoland or Community Solar.
Back by popular demand, Solarize Chicagoland is a grassroots program combining volume purchasing with community education to make rooftop solar more accessible and affordable. Home and commercial property owners may participate in this program.
Ten Elmhurst homeowners installed solar through the 2019 Solarize Chicagoland program. Once again for 2020, the more homeowners who go solar, the lower the price for all.
