Elmhurst Cops To Host 'Public Safety Night' On National Night Out

ELMHURST, IL — The Elmhurst Police Department will host a "Public Safety Night" for residents during National Night Out, which falls on Tuesday, August 6 this year. The city's safety night will run from 6-8 p.m. in the east parking lot of Berens Park.

Law enforcement vehicles, including a police car, NIPAS SWAT vehicle, fire truck and city of Elmhurst mobile incident command vehicle, will be on display. There will also be interactive activities with the police and fire departments for the kids.

National Night Out is a nationwide event that helps promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer.
