Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest Names Event Sponsor

50 local and national breweries will be represented at the beer fest, and there will be over 100 different beers for attendees to sample.

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest has named Pints Elmhurst as the official event sponsor for the 4th annual beer fest, which takes place on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. According to a release, Pints has been a dedicated supporter of the event each year and will be hosting a “Pregame” event over 21 different days in August and September that includes beer fest ticket raffles, a beer dinner and a Sponsor Night.

Pints is a neighborhood bar and restaurant that specializes in burgers and craft beer and is heavily involved in community events. Owner Kristi Blessing said that being the official event sponsor is an honor.

“We are very thankful for being named the event sponsor,” Blessing, an Elmhurst resident who opened Pints in 2010, said in a release. “We take pride in our relationships with the community along with other businesses and organizations in Elmhurst, and the Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest is an event that we helped develop. So being named the event sponsor means a lot to us.”

A month-long partnership with local brewer Elmhurst Brewing Company kicks off the August events, where Pints customers can win $15 gift certificates to the brewery during “Team Trivia” each Tuesday during the month. According to event organizers, Pints customers will also have the chance of winning Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest tickets every Friday and Saturday in August. A participating brewery will be featured each night, and a free raffle to win Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest tickets will take place from 7 to 9 p.m.every Friday and Saturday.

Then, in September, Pints will raffle off another pair of tickets during the city’s “Rock the Block” event on Sept. 8 and 9. Pints will also host an event each night during the week leading up to the fest.

More than 50 local and national breweries will be represented at the beer fest, and there will be over 100 different beers for attendees to sample. According to a release, popular Chicagoland breweries that are taking part in the beer fest include Pipeworks, Forbidden Root, Marz, Maplewood, Pollyanna and Noon Whistle. Tickets can be purchased at the event website.
