ELMHURST, IL – A woman pushed and kicked Elmhurst officers over the weekend after being stopped for suspected drunken driving, police said.

Janie Otero, 39, of Schiller Park, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery (two counts), DUI, improper lane usage and transportation of open alcohol. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

The incident occurred about 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of North York Street, police said.
