Elmhurst Hockey Shop Sends Hockey Supplies To South Korea

ELMHURST, IL — An Elmhurst hockey shop will send hockey supplies to children in South Korea. Sinbin Hockey Shop owner Gino Pisellini will send extra inventory to a friend who is working with children in South Korea.

"I realized I had an abundance of extra inventory getting older and losing value by the day, just taking up space," Pisellini said. Pisellini has a friend who is with his church Open Door Ministry of Vineyard Presbyterian Church doing missionary work in South Korea.

"[My friend] plays hockey and I knew he was working with kids," Pisellini said. "I figured it would be a cool way for him to interact and teach a sport that he knows and has a passion for."

Pisellini said he will be sending hockey sticks, mini nets, balls, tape coaches boards and other retail hockey equipment.

Sinbin Hockey Shop is located at 744 N. Industrial Drive, in Elmhurst.
