Elmhurst Hospital finishes second in national Most Beautiful Hospital contest

For the second year in a row and third time in five years, Elmhurst Hospital has finished as the runner-up in Soliant Health’s Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S. contest.

Soliant Health is a leading provider of specialized healthcare staffing services to hospitals and healthcare providers.

More than 50 hospitals were nominated for Most Beautiful consideration. Soliant’s list of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. was determined during a month-long online voting period.

Elmhurst Hospital received 12,700 votes. The winning hospital, Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y., had 13,539 votes.

On its website, Soliant says, “(Elmhurst Hospital’s) stylish, unintimidating looks have more in common with a contemporary hotel than most medical facilities. Built from the ground up to incorporate the latest trends in healthcare design, our 2017 runner-up is enjoying its sixth year on our list (it was also the runner-up in 2013 and 2016).”

Elmhurst Hospital also finished fifth in 2012, 16th in 2014 and eighth in 2015.
