Elmhurst Hospital hosts "Dinner with the Doc" on October 6

While dining on a four-course, heart-healthy South American meal, participants will learn about Elmhurst Hospital's cardiovascular program.

Elmhurst Hospital will host “Dinner with the Doc for Your Heart” on Tuesday, October 6, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Rios Fine South American Cuisine, 1600 W. Lake St. in Addison. The cost is $10.

While dining on a four-course, heart-healthy South American meal, participants will learn about Elmhurst Hospital’s cardiovascular program from physicians who specialize in interventional radiology, cardiac surgery, general cardiology and other areas of cardiac care.

Representatives from Elmhurst Hospital’s Diabetes, Bariatric and Wound Care Centers will be available to answer questions before and after the program. HeartAware, a free, five-minute, online screening to determine a person’s risk for heart disease will also be available. A free Heart Scan will be raffled following the presentation.
