ELMHURST, IL – A 46-year-old Villa Park woman questioned a Kohl's worker over the weekend about why the store organized clothing the way it did, Elmhurst police said. That angered another customer.

Through a public records request, Patch obtained the full report on what happened in the confrontation.

On Saturday morning, after the 46-year-old spoke to the employee, a 32-year-old woman from the 500 block of West Crockett Avenue in Elmhurst told the other woman, "That's f------ rude," according to the report.

The 46-year-old replied, "Mind your f------ business," the report said. The two then exchanged insults, while the 32-year-old headed to the Sephora counter at Kohl's, police said.

The older woman followed, taking video of the 32-year-old, police said. The 32-year-old woman then grabbed her adversary's phone and wouldn't let it go, police said.

The 46-year-old then threatened to "beat the f---" out of the younger woman, grabbed her phone back and pulled the other woman's hair, police said. Staff separated them.

The two women's stories were largely the same, according to the report. The 32-year-old admitted to taking the phone because she didn't want the other woman to take video or photos of her.

Neither woman wanted to press charges. Police obtained video showing them fighting, the report said.

The women were charged with violating the local ordinance on disorderly conduct. They were released.
