Elmhurst Man Accused Of Domestic Battery: Cops
Police responded to three domestic disturbances this week.
ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to three domestic disturbances in the last few days. Here is information from the reports:
- Piotr Woinski, 43, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of North West Avenue on a charge of domestic battery. According to a police report, officers responded to a house to assist medics. A woman told officers Woinski hit her multiple times. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Police responded to a domestic disturbance about 11 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of East Columbia Avenue. A man told police that another person pushed and punched him. No arrests were made because of conflicting statements and the victim not wishing to sign a complaint.
- Police responded to a domestic disturbance about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of North Virginia Lane. A person said another household member threatened him. Because of conflicting statements, no charges were filed.
