Elmhurst Man Accused Of Touching Uber Driver: Cops

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man inappropriately touched a female Uber driver, called her names and struck her car with his fists, Elmhurst police said.

Tinu V. Mathew, 36, of Elmhurst, was arrested on a charge of battery. He was released on bond. The driver left the man at his house in the 900 block of North Virginia Lane, police said.

Mathew turned himself in on a warrant Saturday at the Elmhurst Police Department, police said.
