Elmhurst Man Among Latest DUI Arrests
Another driver was found slumped behind the wheel before being arrested, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police arrested four people in the last few days on DUI charges, among other offenses. Here is information from the reports:
- Greg E. Straumann, 65, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 5 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East North Avenue on charges of DUI, driving on an unsafe tire and driving an uninsured car. An officer spotted Straumann's disabled car. He was released on bond.
- Antoni Fabian-Lopez, 20, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 6 a.m. Friday at Oak and Third streets on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and transportation of open alcohol. Police said they found Fabian-Lopez slumped behind the wheel. He was released on bond.
- Kathleen M. Police, 68, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Butterfield Road and Stratford Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and failure to dim headlights. She was released on bond.
- Santos D. Lopez Tomas, 31, of Addison, was arrested about 3 a.m. Sunday at Lake Street and Route 83 on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, DUI, no valid driver's license, driving an uninsured car, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lighting. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
