Elmhurst Man Among Latest DUI Arrests: Cops

Police made five drunken driving arrests over the last few days.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police arrested three women and two men on DUI charges in the last few days. All were released on bond. Here is information from the reports:

  • Roger A. Mueller, 39, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Route 83 and North Avenue on charges of DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and passing vehicles while on the shoulder.
  • Nicholas J. Gerage, 39, of Melrose Park, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Emroy and North avenues on charges of DUI, possession of marijuana by a driver and speeding.
  • Alicia M. Howze, 35, of Maywood, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Interstate 290 and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI, speeding, following too closely, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and illegally transporting alcohol.
  • Mirjana A. Dimitric, 33, of Mount Prospect, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Friday at York Street and Cayuga Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, transportation or possession of alcohol by a driver, not wearing a seatbelt and driving with expired plates.
  • Wendy Sue Curtis, 56, of Twelve Mile, Indiana, was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday at First Street and Commerce Parkway on charges of DUI, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving an uninsured car.
